Encryption in Transit & at Rest
All health data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest, aligned with HIPAA security requirements.
Database-Level Isolation
Row-level security ensures each patient can only ever access their own records — enforced at the database, not just the interface.
Tamper-Evident Audit Trail
Every document view, edit, download, and export is logged with user, timestamp, and action — each entry cryptographically hash-chained (SHA-256) to the previous one, so any tampering is immediately detectable.
Patient-Controlled Access
You decide who sees your data. Consent is grantable and revocable per provider, with expiration dates you control.
Emergency QR Access
A token-gated emergency profile lets first responders see critical info — only what they need, nothing more.
Automatic Session Timeout
Sessions expire after 15 minutes of inactivity, preventing unauthorized access if you step away from your device.

No health data is reachable without login. Every API call is verified server-side.
Input Validation
Public forms are protected with email validation and length caps to block abuse.
Document Integrity Verification
Every uploaded medical document is fingerprinted with SHA-256 (256-bit) hashing — any tampering is instantly detected when the file is reviewed.
Cryptographically Secure Tokens
Emergency QR tokens use 122-bit UUIDv4 entropy, verification codes are generated with a CSPRNG (crypto.getRandomValues), and emergency access is rate-limited to 20 lookups per hour per IP.
